But fatha, I just want to sing, fatha...

Happy Father's Day DADDY!

When it comes to my dad I don't even know where to begin. From the time I was little I always looked up to him in so many ways. He is loving, thoughtful, extremely friendly, hilarious, confident, hard working, passionate (about food), and an avid BYU fan :). I think I was his biggest audience as a kid because he could do just about anything remotely funny or stupid and I would laugh with him for hours. He is such an amazing person and example to me and I feel so blessed to have him as my father. Thanks for being such a wonderful person, daddy. I love you.

Blessed

This week we had another ultrasound to check on our little guy's growth and thanks to all the many prayers and fasting from family and friends he has shown a great improvement in his growth and there are no major concerns thus far! We are sooo grateful to have had our prayers answered and I know Heavenly Father is watching over us and our baby. Thank you to all of you who have been praying for us. We truly appreciate it.

34 weeks

We're keeping our fingers crossed that everything goes well with the delivery in only 5 more weeks!! We are watching my blood pressure and keeping an eye out for any other signs of preeclampsia. So far, so good :) (The last thing we want is a replay of my delivery with Emma...)

Cabin Trip 2012

A couple weeks ago we had our Nelson Family reunion at the cabin in Sundance, UT.
To sum it up: SO. MUCH. FUN.
We ended up being there for 10 days and we enjoyed every second of it!

Emily was a champ and cut ALL the boys' hair!

Making survival bracelets

 Playing at the playground

Eating at Burger Supreme

Went to Park City

Emma LOVED the airplane ride. She went on it twice and bawled when she couldn't do it again.

A little mini golf while waiting for the big kids to finish the big kid rides

Airplane ride again, check.

The trip wouldn't be complete without a visit to the BYU Bookstore.

 Playing with cousin Stella

I got to visit two of my lovely cousins who are both pregnant! Heidi (pic on the top) is due in Sept. and Jami (pic on the bottom) is due this month. All of us are having boys - so fun!!

Emma had fun beating up on playing nicely with Jami's daughter Taylor

While I was visiting my cousins, the rest of the crew hiked up to the Timpanogos Caves.

Playing night games (boys)

Playing night games (girls)
*The game obsession of the trip was Bohnanza. We literally played it for hours every night!

Emma and Ben had a love/hate relationship during the whole trip. They would be friends one minute and then enemies the next. They always got along when they watched Team UmiZoomi episodes together though :)

Monte L. Bean Museum - always a hit with the kids

We were lucky to be there when they brought out this tortoise to play with, although Emma wanted nothing to do with him and got over it after 30 seconds.

Lots of ladder ball tournaments

 Sundance Resort for lunch. Mmmm

We had planned to stay until Tuesday but Emma got really sick on Saturday. So on Sunday we decided to cut our trip short and head for home. We got to split up the trip both ways by spending the night in Cedar City which made it so much easier on me, being so large and uncomfortable! We are so spoiled to have Emily and Jared live in Cedar to let us stay there! Thanks guys!!!
